Welcome to the
WE Innovate 2025
Grand Final
Welcome
It’s a real pleasure to welcome you to the eleventh Grand Final of WE Innovate; Imperial’s flagship programme dedicated to championing women entrepreneurs.
This year’s 25 exceptional teams have brought forward bold, ground-breaking ideas across a wide range of sectors, making the competition more exciting and inspiring than ever.
This programme would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. A heartfelt thank you to Michelmores LLP for their time and commitment, and to Alexsis de Raadt St James, the Althea Foundation, Allison Bennington, Richard Hinwood, the EiBF and our other donors whose philanthropy powers WE Innovate.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Imperial Venture Mentoring Service (IVMS) and our dedicated industry volunteers for their invaluable contributions to our judging panels.
This year marks a major milestone: the launch of WE Innovate National. We’re proud to welcome Queen’s University Belfast as our first partner, bringing 25 new women-led teams into the programme. To celebrate, five finalists from Queen’s will join five from Imperial to compete for a share of a £60,000 prize fund.
We’re also thrilled to announce that Swansea University, Durham University, and the University of Glasgow have joined the WE Innovate National network and will begin delivering the programme in 2026, further expanding our mission to support women entrepreneurs across the UK.
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for visionary partners to help us grow. If tonight’s pitches inspire you and you’re interested in supporting the next generation of women innovators, or in joining the WE Innovate National network as a university partner, now is the perfect time to get involved.
I’d be delighted to discuss opportunities for partnership, sponsorship, or collaboration. Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or find me at the networking reception.
Now, on with the show!
