Investment Office Hours

Stop by our virtual office and let us answer your investment questions.

Get the guidance you need

Investment Office Hours are a valuable opportunity for you to receive answers and personalised feedback on funding matters. Our Head of Investment Services has set aside time in his diary each week to meet with founders and provide one-to-one guidance to help you run a smooth fundraising process.

Who is Office Hours for?

Office Hours sessions are available to all Imperial College students, staff and alumni, and their co-founders.

Figuring out when and how to secure investment can be pretty daunting. This focused meeting will help you understand what you need to have in place to be ready.

Please note: These sessions aren’t for pitching, and Investment Services does not itself make any investments. They’re an opportunity to get some valuable advice and face-time with our in-house expert so you can develop your “investor-readiness”.

To book a slot you must:

Be an Imperial College student, alumni, postdoc (non-Imperial founders are welcome to attend with you) or Imperial member of staff

Have set-up a business and be approximately 9 months away from completing your fundraising journey

How does it work?

Office Hours sessions are designed to be an informal discussion.

You should come armed with an idea of how much you’d like to raise, your preferred investor profile and how you plan to use the funds.

Ideally you’ll also have a good understanding of the market, who your customers are and your go-to-market strategy/business model.

Book Office Hours

Office Hours sessions take place throughout term time. There are a limited number of Office Hours sessions every week, and they’re in high demand so please only book if you meet the criteria.

Can’t see a slot? Please contact us and we’ll let you know as soon as one becomes available.
