WE Innovate is Imperial College London’s flagship pre‑accelerator for women‑led ventures, supporting 25 teams each year through a structured programme of masterclasses, expert business coaching, tailored 1:1 support, peer mentoring, and access to Imperial’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The programme empowers women founders to develop, test, and scale their ventures, and culminates in a high‑profile Grand Final Showcase, where finalist teams pitch live to compete for prize funding and recognition.
WE Innovate National: Year Two
This year marks the second year of WE Innovate National, a growing UK‑wide programme expanding the WE Innovate model beyond Imperial College London.
Alongside Imperial, Queen’s University Belfast, Swansea University, and Loughborough University are each hosting their own Grand Final showcases on their respective campuses—celebrating local talent while contributing to a shared national ecosystem focused on supporting women‑led innovation.
Looking ahead, WE Innovate Nation is set to expand to seven universities next year, supporting 175 women‑led start-up teams nationwide.
