This session is open to any healthcare innovators and entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in health tech route to market and navigating regulatory, value assessment and NHS commissioning pathways.
About the speakers
Suzanne Meenan is a healthcare business strategist focussed on supporting start-ups and SMEs in the healthcare, Biotech and MedTech sectors. With over 30 years’ experience in senior roles across the pharma/biotech industry including GSK and Roche, and extensive consultancy experience with several major clients, she aims to use her extensive knowledge of Medical, Strategy, Marketing, Communications and NHS Policy and Access to help transition innovations from product development through to commercial success.
Rachel Fyson is a successful pharmaceutical market access leader with 12 years’ experience gained at the world’s largest biotech company and as a consultant. She played key roles in securing NHS funding for multiple treatments from oncology through to haemophilia, providing patients with the opportunity of new treatment options. Her knowledge base and experience are wide, having utilised her technical skills as a health economist, developing and implementing access and reimbursement strategies, through to collaborating and negotiating significant commercial solutions with NHS England. Rachel has an MSc from the University of Sheffield in International Health Technology Assessment, Pricing and Reimbursement.
