Idea Challenge – The Dark Side of Digital, Data and AI

8th November, 5:00-8:00pm
Join us for an evening workshop that will explore the dark side of digital, data and AI.

About this event

Join us on 8 November for an evening workshop that will explore the dark side of digital, data and AI. You’ll use your creativity and critical thinking to work in teams to identify problems and create solutions that solve some of the negative consequences of digital, data and AI – no technical skills are required!

Director of the Data Science Institute at Imperial, Professor Mark Kennedy and some of our Enterprise Lab startup founders will help contextualise the challenge, and you’ll work with Hattie Willis, former Associate Principal of Rainmaking Venture Studio, founder of GuessWorks, and experienced facilitator. She’ll guide you through the process of generating, choosing and finally pitching your idea. You’ll see first-hand how innovation and entrepreneurship work together. And as an extra incentive, we’ll be awarding prizes for the best idea and best pitch.

This event is a must-attend for those who:

  • Are passionate about exploring and solving the negative consequences of digital, data, and AI
  • Are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Are looking for a team to work with
  • Want to learn about the ideation process and develop new skills
  • Want to be in with a chance to win a share of a cash prize fund!

This year we will be partnering with the Data Science Institute

This year’s Idea Challenge will be held in person and spaces are limited so sign up today to avoid missing out!
