In this in person session we will review a step by step guide to fundraising for your idea or startup. We will cover what you need to get started on both sides of the Atlantic, who to talk to and how to close investors. This is the same playbook run by our portfolio companies as they cross the Atlantic to raise money from top investors and build their business.

Join Ash Rust, an entrepreneur turned investor. He is the Managing Partner of Sterling Road, a venture fund focused on B2B companies at the earliest stages. He was an advisor to Bullpen Capital and previously worked at Trinity Ventures. Ash has mentored hundreds of startups through accelerator programs including Y-Combinator, Techstars, Oxford, Stanford, UC Berkeley and Alchemist.

Before investing, Ash was co-founder and CEO of SendHub (acquired: Cameo Global, Y-Combinator W12), Director of Ranking at Klout (acquired: Lithium) and an Engineer at OneRiot (acquired: Walmart).

Ash earned a Masters in Computer Science from Oxford, served as an Officer in the British Army, and currently resides in San Francisco.
