IMPERIAL START-UP SPRINT: INNOVATE FOR IMPACT
Ready to transform your ideas into world-changing solutions? Imperial Enterprise Lab invites Imperial College students and recent alumni to join a high-energy 3-day innovation challenge designed to spark creativity, build valuable connections, and develop entrepreneurial skills—all while creating solutions with real-world impact.
No matter your academic background or experience level—whether you’re a business student, engineer, scientist, artist, or anywhere in between—this sprint is for you. No technical expertise required!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Three days, spread over five, you’ll experience:
– Expert-led workshops to sharpen your innovation toolkit
– Collaborative team sessions to develop breakthrough ideas
– Pitch competition with ÂŁ1,500 in prizes at stake!
Come solo and find your dream team or bring your existing group and dive straight into solving challenges that matter.
2025 INNOVATION TRACKS
This year’s Start-Up Sprint focuses on creating meaningful impact across five cutting-edge tracks:
1. CREATIVE CATALYST – Reimagining culture, entertainment, and consumer experiences
2. FINTECH INNOVATIONS – Revolutionising financial systems and digital interactions
3. CLIMATE RESILIENCE – Engineering sustainable solutions for environmental challenges
4. VITALITY VENTURES – Transforming healthcare, wellness, and quality of life
5. INTELLIGENT FUTURES – Harnessing AI and robotics to solve tomorrow’s problems
Key Dates:
Registrations close on Sunday 22 June at 23.59 GMT+1 (BST)
The event will run from Monday 23rd June – Friday 27th June
Workshops will run on
- Monday 23rd (Ideation),
- Wednesday 25th (Business Models and Customers) and
- Friday 27th (Build a Pitch and Presentations)
Consisting of a morning session and an afternoon session, each no longer than 2h, and some exercises to do in the days between.
These will be interactive sessions and will help you work within your teams. However, content will be available after the live event, so if you find you can’t make it, you can watch back on demand and won’t miss out.
Tuesday 24th and Thursday 25th will be free for you to work in your teams on your solution. As well as dedicated “Office Hours” available for you to ask any specific questions you may have.
