Business Coaching

Our highly skilled, entrepreneurial coaches help you understand how to get your business from where it is now to where you want it to be.

They will give you the tools to help you become more independent in your decision making and agree realistic targets and timeframes.

Depending on availability, you are allowed up to one session a month, if that is what your coach recommends – it could be that a two or three month gap between sessions is more appropriate.

COVID-19 STATEMENT

From E-Lab to V-Lab

Due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19 and Imperial’s move to remote working and study, the Enterprise Lab co-working space will be closed until further notice and upcoming events have been postponed or moved online.

The good news is we’ve gone virtual! We’ve moved all of our Idea Surgeries, Business Coaching and Expert-in-Residence support online and are supporting MBA Connect in creating the COVID-19 Task Force. You can find out how they can support you and you venture here. and are working hard to ensure that our awesome community is still coming together, sharing ideas and supporting each other, albeit virtually.

Our community of Imperial’s innovators and entrepreneurs are still sharing great ideas, asking important questions and working out how to ‘get out of the building’ to speak to customers when you’re literally stuck IN the building. The Enterprise Lab will also be sharing our latest updates and some new virtual content on Slack and our social channels, so stay tuned!

Gain access to a Business Coach

The first step to gaining business coaching is to engage with the Enterprise Lab team and ensure that we know where you are with your idea. The best way of doing this is via an Idea Surgery, and by completing an Idea Canvas.

If you can demonstrate that you are:

  • taking proactive steps to test your assumptions
  • exploring the problem you are trying to solve
  • engaging with your potential customers

In other words, if you are doing substantive work to move your venture forward, then you may be eligible for Business Coaching. You may well be asked to complete a number of further actions before access to Business Coaching is approved.
