TRIK, the Google Maps for structures, has been listed as one of 60 women-led startups shaking up tech across the globe. Pae Natwilai founded TRIK whilst studying at Imperial and grew her idea as part of the 2014-15 WE Innovate cohort.
Pae has had numerous successes with TRIK including winning Innovate UK ‘Women in Innovation’ award in 2016, and their ‘Design in Innovation’ award in 2017. Pae has also been named in Forbes 30 under 30 Europe on the industry list.
Pae said ““I never thought I could be an entrepreneur until I met my advisor in the WE Innovate Programme. I was not a programme finalist but my advisor carried on supporting me and encouraged me to start my own company. She hand-held me through the first couple of steps and introduced me to the start-up dynamic in the UK. This changed my thinking and gave me a solid base to build my company. I am forever thankful to Deepali Nangia, my first advisor in my start-up journey.”
