Congratulations to the Imperial student teams that have been selected semi-finalists for the Tata Varsity Pitch Competition 2020. They are Third Eye Intelligence (nominated for its social impact) Tangi0 Ltd (nominated for its digital & technical innovation) Yumkax Global (nominated for its ideas & communication) and The Tyre Collective (nominated for the disruptive business category).
Two of the teams, Third Eye Intelligence and The Tyre Collective, took part in the Venture Catalyst Challenge 2020, winning the Robotics & AI Track and the Moonshot prize respectively.
About Third Eye Intelligence
Third Eye Intelligence aims to increase ICU survival rates with the use of AI to predict a patient’s risk of organ failure. This idea is created by Samyakh (Sam) Tukra, current PhD student of Artificial Intelligence & Computer Vision. See more information about Third Eye Intelligence.
About The Tyre Collective
The Tyre Collective’s pending patent technology reduces tyre particles and microplastic waste that are released when tyres wear out. The idea is created Siobhan Anderson, Hanson Cheng, M Deepak Mallya, and Hugo Richardson, former students of MSc Innovation Design Engineering programme, offered jointly by Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
