About this event

Where most of us see the world changing, entrepreneurs set out to change the world.

Defining and designing better futures for us all, we rely on these innovators to build the businesses, products and solutions that will truly make a difference. Yet even today, women are still vastly underrepresented as investors and as founders. And even then, for every £1 of venture capital investment in the UK, all-female founder teams get less than 1p.

But societal norms are shifting, possibilities are being re-imagined and new opportunities are taking shape. More and more women are turning to entrepreneurship to challenge the systems in place and create the change they want to see.

Women in Innovation (WIN) LDN are proud to be partnering with Imperial College London’s WE Innovate, a pre-accelerator programme with one main goal – to increase the number of women in leadership positions, running startups and raising funding.

Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or willing investor, whether you’re looking to mentor, find a partner, join a team or just build your network in this area, we’re making it easy to take your next steps. Across the online course of our 1.5 hour interactive session, you will:

  • Learn relevant skills and explore Design Thinking methods through an exclusive Entrepreneurship Masterclass led by Co-Director and Creative Strategist at Current.Works, Mo-Ling Chui
  • Hear from Angel Investors, as well as WE Innovate alums, in our Fireside Chats, where you’ll have the opportunity to put your burning questions to the panel.
  • Meet fellow (and future!) partners, team members, mentors, investors and allies through our in-group workshops and networking spaces

Join us in supporting aspiring female entrepreneurs and encouraging investment in female-led ventures through fostering mentorship, facilitating networking and providing access to the necessary skills and resources for our future leaders to succeed. Learn more about WE Innovate here.
