The problem

Current home gym equipment is bulky, heavy and is limited in what it can offer both in terms of versatility and smart connectivity.

The solution

Stance equipment is specifically designed for the home environment. It replaces heavy weight stacks with clever electromagnetic systems, so it fits into the home space. It’s also digitised so users can track and monitor their progress and engage with both online classes and 1-2-1 personal trainer sessions from the comfort of their own homes.

Why did you apply to the Summer Accelerator Programme?

We recognised that the business needed some external experts to validate our thinking and planning, to test our assumptions and to identify where we have confirmation bias. The Summer Accelerator gave us the ideal platform to be able to do that in a safe, but challenging environment. It’s provided us with some much-needed space to ’step back’ from the business and has made it possible for us to work ‘on’ it rather than ‘in’ it.

What are you looking to achieve through the Summer Accelerator?

We have 3 key goals

  1. To be investor-ready by the end of the programme. Our planning, administration and structures will all be in place ready for investment discussions.
  2. To have a clear product roadmap, aligned with the business plan that gives us a credible and compelling plan to launch a consumer-ready product to market quickly.
  3. To have a robust marketing strategy in place that will help us generate demand and drive pre-launch sales.
